Intensive master class in solo singing by prof. MA Vesna Ginovska Ilkova

The Faculty of Arts in Niš, Center for Lifelong Learning in cooperation with the Department of Solo Singing organizes an intensive master class that will be led by the renowned opera singer, prima donna of the Skopje Opera and long-time professor Vesna Ginovska Ilkova, prof. MA at the Faculty of Music Arts, University of Skopje “St. Cyril and Methodius” Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia.

The master course will be held at the Faculty of Arts in Niš from 22nd to 24th October 2022.

The final concert of active participants and the certificates awarding to all course participants will be held on 24th October 2022, at 8 pm at the Faculty of Arts Concert and Exhibition Space, Knjaževačka 2a.

 

The application deadline for candidates is 14th October 2022.

The registration fee for active participation is 4,000 RSD, for passive 2,000 RSD.

The number of active participants is limited.

Knowledge and skills for the digital age

The Faculty of Arts in Niš, in cooperation with the Science and Technology Park Niš, invites you to lectures within the project “Knowledge and Skills for the Digital Age”, authored by Miodrag Obradović.

Lectures “Copyright and related rights in the field of creative industries with examples from practice” will be held by Srdjan Mitrić, an expert in these fields, and Dejan Pejović, full prof. at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in the VIP Hall of the Science and Technology Park in Niš, 14.10.2022. from 12 to 14 p.m.

Annual exhibition of works in the field of graphic design by students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts entitled “By Visual Rhetoric to Identity #2” in the Gallery of the Student Cultural Center in New Belgrade

The collective exhibition of works by students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts, entitled “Visual Rhetoric to Identity #2” in the Gallery of the Student Cultural Center in New Belgrade, was opened from September 7th to 19th September, 2022.

The annual exhibition of works in the field of graphic design by the Department of Applied Arts students, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, entitled “By Visual Rhetoric to Identity #2” is an annual review of the most successful work of students of the 3rd and 4th years of undergraduate academic studies, study program for Graphic Design, on the course Graphic communications. The primary themes of this project are the works of 20 students, namely: Ana Milenković, Jana Janić, Jovana Milojević, Marta Pejčić, Minja Djordjević, Nadežda Ristić, Sara Stojanović, Aleksandra Stanković, Andrijana Stanković, Kristina Djurdjević, Marko Tomić, Mila Teokarević, Paulina Aleksić, Sara Popović, Teodora Nikolić, Helena Milošević, Vasilije Injac, Jovana Djordjević, Mina Živić and Nebojša Stojković.

Students confirm the knowledge and skills acquired in Graphic Communications through the implementation of specific tasks. During classes, they demonstrate their talent, engaged in creative thinking and reinforce their readiness to solve specific tasks in contemporary design. By combining visual and rhetorical elements into one coherent comprehensible whole, the entire context is rounded, and thus naming annual exhibition of the Department of Applied Arts students “By Visual Rhetoric to Identity #2”.

Our goal is for the exhibited works of students to be proof of realized mutual studious activity of students and teachers.

Exhibition of the final works of students of Master academic studies of the Department of Visual Arts

The final annual exhibition of the students of the master academic studies in Painting at the Department of Visual Arts of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš presents the works of ten young artists, providing art lovers and the general public with a valuable opportunity to get acquainted with the enviable level of final production, distinctive poetics and aesthetic preferences of the authors who are yet to come. challenging professional path. Once again, the good pedagogical practices – of the mentors, full professors Katarina Djordjević and Zoran Kostić, MA, as well as Associate professor Bratislav Bašić, MA, who encourage creativity, sovereignty of individualism and innovative creative approaches with systematic guidance and a strategy of giving space for freedom – were confirmed. The exhibition displays in the Fortress Pavilion clearly reflect that the Faculty of Arts in Niš is an art institution that has a significant influence on contemporary creativity motivating artists to develop their own potential, nurture diversity and the critical edge of artistic activity. The exhibition includes the works of Tijana Savković, Ana Jug, Kristina Jovanović, Andrea Jovanović, Vanja Radojičić, Danica Krstić, Bogdana Ilić, Jovana Djurić, Sonja Kovačević and Stefan Djurdjanović.

The Exhibition of the final works of students of Master academic studies the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts was opened, in the Fortress Pavilion of the Gallery of Contemporary Fine Arts in Niš on Monday, 27th June 2022, at 7 pm. The exhibition can be seen until 4th July 2022.

Concert of the Faculty of Arts professors with Niš Symphony Orchestra

Concert on the occasion of the closing season of Niš Symphony Orchestra with the Faculty of Arts professors, violinist prof. Jovan Bogosavljević, MA, and conductor prof. DA Milena Injac, was held on Thursday, 23rd June 2022 in Niška spa on the plateau in front of the outdoor fountain plateau in the presence of a large number of citizens and tourists. Two Faculty students participated in the orchestra: Stefan Stefanović, violinist, MAS student and permanent member of NSO, as well as Mila Todorović, cellist, UAS student and member of NSO by invitation. The works of Monkay, Marques and Piazzolla – “Seasons” were greatly performed by prof. Bogosavljević as a soloist at the concert called “Vive Latino”.

Creative graphic design skills

The final master works of the students of the Department of Applied Arts include a wide range of projects, from artifacts intended to satisfy intellectual and aesthetic needs, to functional products, objects and digital systems. The entire process, from conceptualization to realization, requires the application of creative skills and original visual expressions that transform ideas and concepts into aesthetically articulated two-dimensional, digital and spatial forms, complemented by imagination, vision and innovation. The exhibition includes the works of: Kristina Djurdjević, Nataša Ilić, Aleksandra Stanković, Teodora Nikolić, Sara Popović, Andrijana Stanković, Mila Teokarević, Marko Tomić.

Three-member commission composed of: prof. DA Slobodan Radojković, president and members – prof.  MA Bojan Živić and Jovana Djordjević, Assistant professor, based on the insight into the overall activity of all-years students at the Department of Visual Arts in the past academic year, is unanimous in the decision that this year’s winner of “Velizar Krstić” Graphic Award will be Natalija Ilić, 3rd year student of UAS, for exhibited graphics within a series of portraits realized in the algraphy technique.

A special attitude towards drawing, understanding of the expressive possibilities of algraphy and Natalija Ilić,s continuous dedication to the graphics – resulted in graphics that are characterized by authentic manuscript and high technical level of realization.
