Concert of Stefan Sretić in Pirot

Stefan Sretić, Spec, an assistant at the Faculty of Arts, will hold a concert with baritone Nikola Mikić, Mas, an alumni of the Faculty of Arts, on Monday, 25th February 2019 in the Cultural Center hall in Pirot.

„PlakArt” exhibition of students of the Department of Applied Arts

The exhibition “PlakArt” by students of the Department of Applied Arts of the Faculty of Arts will be open on Tuesday, 19th February 2019, at 7 pm Gallery Art55 in Niš. The works are exhibited by Nikola Djordjević, Miloš Kostov, Kosta Vojinović, Jovan Živković, Aleksandar Tonev, Vukašin Ivković, Jovan Jovanović, Iva Prvulović, Mihailo Golubović, Nevena Stojanović, Nadica Kostić, Anastasija Kocić, Aleksandra Stojanović, Nebojša Stojković, Tijana Savić, Jovana Djordjević, Milan Nestorović, Tijana Mitić, Natalija Djordjević, Vasilije Injac, Mina Živić  Danilo Paunović, Milica Tasić. Mentor: Slavica Dragosavac, MA, Associate professor, Assistant: Jovana Nikolić. The exhibition is organized by the Faculty of Arts and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASA Branch in Niš.

Concert of Slobodanka Pajić in Kruševac

MA Slobodanka Pajić, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will hold a solo concert on Tuesday, 26th February 2019, at 6 pm at the National Museum in Kruševac. Beethoven and Schubert will be on the performance program.

The City of Niš Diploma awarded to Mihailo Dašić

Mihailo Dašić, the second-year guitar student, in the class of prof. Vesna Petković, MA, received the Diploma for outstanding success during the studies, as the best student in 2018 year at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš, awarded by the City of Niš.

“Composer of the Year” Award to Aleksandar Sedlar

Aleksandar Sedlar, MAS, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, received the “Composer of the Year” Award for Symphony No. 1 awarded by the music magazine “Musica Classica”. The award ceremony will be held at the Museum of National Theatre in Belgrade, on Thursday, 31st January 2019 at 6 pm. Congratulations! The “Musica Classica” Prize was founded in 2010, when the first issue of the “Musica Classica” magazine was published. It was designed as an acknowledgment to local artists, ensembles, festivals, publishers, critics, music institutions and the media, which made the most significant track on the domestic music scene within the calendar year.

Slobodan Radojković exhibited in Japan

Slobodan Radojkovic, Associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, exhibited at the “Museum of 21st Century Contemporary Art” within the exhibition “Link 1988 – 2018” in Kanazawa, Japan, from 18th to 24th December 2018.

Concerts by Sofija Stajić in Berlin

At the invitation of the international orchestra “German-Nordic Youth Philharmonic Orchestra”, composed of musicians from sixteen world countries, Sofija Stajić, the horn student in the class of Milan Stajić, MA performed at three concerts held in Berlin. The first concert she performed at was the concert of the international wind quintet in Pumpa chamber hall, she performed at the second concert with the orchestra in the same hall, while the third concert was held at the Berlin Philharmonic hall under the conductorship of maestro Andreas Per Kelera.
