Tijana Borić, PhD Assistant professor, participated from September 4th-7th, 2019 at 14th International Biennial DDD Conference organized by ASDS bringing together numerous international multidisciplinary experts, researchers of the social context of death. This year, the theme of the conference was “Engagement and Education”, hosted by the University of Bath, England. The biennial gathering brought together about 130 international researchers and professors from 30 countries around the world who are actively engaged in promoting and studying the phenomenon of death in the arts, humanities and other related sciences. Tijana Borić, PhD successfully presented a paper entitled “The Political Economy of Death and the Concept of King’s Two Bodies: The Funeral of King Aleksandar Karadjordjevic I in 1934” which is the result of a collaboration with her colleague Dr. Igor Borozan, Associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.

On Thursday, August 29th, at 8 pm, a solo exhibition of graphic design works, of Sanja Dević, Assistant professor, entitled “A Book in Miniature” will be opened. The exhibition includes a series of twelve handmade miniature books. The exhibition will last until September 18th, 2019.
