Stevan Spalević, Associate professor, held a master course on 13^th April2019 at the Music school “Kornelije Stanković” in Trstenik.

Nemanja Egerić, Associate at the Faculty of Arts, performed at the concert of the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade piano students, in the class of prof. Maja Rajković, performing a selection of pieces from the cycle “Twenty Views of Jesus Child” by Olivier Messian. The concert was held on 8^th April 2019 at Italian Institute for Culture in Belgrade.

Exhibition of paintings “Imaginary landscapes”, doc. Vladan Randjelović, Assistant professor, was opened on Wednesday, 17^th April 2019, at “Boža Ilić” Gallery in Prokuplje. The exhibition was opened by a City Council member in charge of culture, Milica Erić. Besides the exhibition author, Dragan Popović, an art historian also spoke at the exhibition opening.

Andjela Bratić MA, full professor, held a concert with the “Chamber Band” ensemble on Monday, 8^th April 2019, at 7 pm in the Niš City Hall. The concert featured pieces by Tošić, Divjaković, Golemović, Hristić …

Flute students at the Faculty of Arts Niš in the class of Jelena Jakovljević, PhD, Assistant professor, achieved great success at XVI competition of wooden winders in Požarevac. Congratulations!

Valentina Stanojević, a third-year flute student in the class of Andjela Bratić, MA, full professor, won I prize (97.4 points) at XVI competition of wooden winders in Požarevac. Congratulations!

Doc. Miljan Nedeljković, Assistant professor, is the winner of I prize at the photo contest on the topic “Cultural and Historical Monuments of Novi Pazar” for the photo “Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Ras”, organized by the Museum “Ras” in Novi Pazar. The exhibition of the narrow selection of photo and award winning works was opened on 15^th April 2019 in the Museum building.

The chamber trio “de Janeiro” composed by Bratislav Zlatković, Associate professor – flute, guitar, Miloš Vuković and Pavle Žarkić – guitar, held a concert in the Center for Culture and Art in Aleksinac Gallery  on Thursday, 11^th April 2019.

Miloš Vuković, a 4^th-year guitar student in class of Vesna Petković, MA, full professor is one of fourteen winners of the Eurostrings scholarship from all over Europe for 2018/19. Congratulations! EuroStrings is the first European platform for classical guitar, which includes 14 European countries and guitar festivals, under the auspices of the European Union Creative Europe Fund.

The concert entitled “Spring charm” by chamber music students in the class of prof. Ana Veličković Igić, spec, will be held on Wednesday, 17^th April 2019, at 8 pm, in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The entrance to the concert is free.
