Duo Milošević-Šumanjski continues presenting new music for violoncello and piano with concerts in several cities of Serbia, where he will present completely new pieces of domestic composers who responded to the inspiration “Old dances” in their own way.

Concert by Mina Mendelson, PhD, violin and spec. Bojan Mladenović, piano, will be held on Wednesday, 21^st December 2018, at 7pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The program includes works by Beethoven, Dvoržak and Brahms. The entrance to the concert is free.

Professor Perica Donkov, MA a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, is a participant in the third in the row Niš Salon, which was officially opened on Thursday, 15^th November 2018, at 7 pm in the Officer^,s House in Niš, and will last until 10^th December 2018. Niš Salon: 12/2, an exhibition of twelve artists by choice of two selectors is the youngest annual event organized by the Gallery of Contemporary Fine Arts in Niš.

Stevan Spalević, assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, held a concert in the ceremonial hall of the First Gymnasium in Kragujevac, on Tuesday, 13^th November 2018, together with his colleagues percussionists Srdjan Palačković, PhD and Neven Djordjević as well as the pianist Nemanja Egerić in the duo Stevan Nemanja. The program included works by Bach, Stravinsky, Glinsky, Vinyan and Sonata for two pianos and percussionists of Bela Bartok.

Perica Donkov, full professor at the Faculty of Arts, participates at 6^th International Biennial Exhibition of Fine and Visual Arts “Library – Open Book of the Balkans” in Čačak. The theme of this year’s event is “DIALOGUE – I love the art of others” featuring 72 artists from 21 countries.

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš celebrates 16 years of existence and work. The ceremony on this occasion will be held on Monday, 3^rd December 2018, at noon, in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom.

Miljan Bjeletić, MA, a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, participated at a scientific conference of professors from Shanghai, other cities of China and international representatives of the accordion from 5^th to 7^th November 2018 in Shanghai and held master class to students of the Conservatory in Shanghai.

In the period from 8^th to 14^th November 2018, Faculty of Arts professors, Nikola Peković, assistant professor, Nikola Cvetković, artistic associate and Andrija Minčić, assistant professor will hold three concerts in Vancouver, Edmonton and participate in the World music category of World trophy which is held in Victoria, Canada.

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASА Branch in Niš are organizing a scientific symposium “Traditional Aesthetic Culture: Picture and Letter” on Friday, 9^th November 2018, at 11 am in the Multimedia Room no. 8 at the University of Niš.

On the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republic of Srpska at the ASARS Gallery, an exhibition “Pictures and Sculptures” of twenty eminent artists of different generations from Serbia, the Republic of Srpska, Slovenia and the UK, whose works are part of the art collection of the International Art Colony of Pliva, was organized. Among the exhibited works are the pictures of the larger format of prof. Katarina Djordjević, MA, full professor at the Faculty of Arts.
