Concert of percussion students in the class of Boris Bunjac

Students of the study program Percussions, Djordje Stojiljković, Djordje Hartl, Vanja Hartl and Luka Pal Marković, in the class of Boris Bunjac, will present us a unique concert experience on Wednesday, 30th May 2018 at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a str. In this way, students will presented themselves for the first time to the Niš audience with a full-length concert and present their talent on a large number of percussion instruments.

Concert of piano students in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom

Concert of piano students, in the class of Stevan Spalević, will be held on Tuesday, 29th May 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a str. The entrance to the concert is free. Nikola Pavlović, Svetlana Stojanović, Ivana Babović and Vera Radisavljević will perform at the concert.

Awards to solo-singing students at the Competition in Kragujevac

Darko Mlovanović, a master student in the class of Saša Arsenkov, MA, won I1 prize (92.5 points) and Jelena Stojilović, a master student in the class of Katarina Simonović Ivanković, MA, won the II1 prize (89.82 points) at the First international competition of solo singers “Radmila Bakočević” in Kragujevac, which was held on 26th May 2018. Congratulations!

Concert of the piano duo “Stevan Nemanja” in Florence

The piano duo “Stevan Nemanja” consisting of Stevan Spalević, pianist, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš and Nemanja Egerić, alumni of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a concert at the Auditorium Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio in Florence within the concert season Musica al Ponte 2018. They played at the concert with Italian percussionists Pierre Machetti and Ricardo Soldi performing works by Bartok and Ravel.

 

Lectures by Tatjana Shurev, PhD and Irena Kofman, PhD at the Faculty of Arts

Within the VI International Student Complementary Piano Competition, lectures will be organized, which will be held on Friday, 25th May 2018, at 1 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. Lectures will be delivered by Tatiana Shurev, PhD on the topic “Music as a tool of 21st Century Culture Education in the USA” and Irena Kofman, PhD on the topic “Differences between Russian and American Schools in the Approach to Teaching Piano”. The entrance is free.
