Mihailo Dašić, Pavle Žarkić (category VI) and Vladimir Pecarski (category VII), guitar students in the class of Vesna Petković, MA, won II prizes at XIV International “Naissus Guitar” Festival, which was held from 17^th May to 20^th May 2018 in Niš. A special award – solo concert at International Guitar Festival “Academician Marin Goleminov” in 2019 in Kyustendil in Bulgaria was awarded to Mihailo Dašić. Congratulations!

Students of chamber music, in the class of prof. Bratislav Zlatković, won valuable awards in the category of Chamber music at XIV International “Naissus Guitar” Festival, which was held from 17^th May to 20^th May 2018 in Niš. Congratulations!

Slobodanka Pajić, MA Assistant Professor at Complementary Piano Department, will hold a full-length concert at the Music School “Stevan Mokranjac” in Zaječar, on Thursday, 24^th May 2018, at 7 pm. The compositions of V. Mokranjac, A. Skriabin and C. Debussy will be performed as the program.

Slobodanka Pajić, Assistant Professor at Complementary Piano Department, will hold a full-length concert at the Culture Castle in Vrnjci Spa on Wednesday, 23^rd May 2018, at 6 pm. The compositions of V. Mokranjac, A. Skriabin and C. Debussy will be performed as the program.

Marina Trajković-Bidžovski will hold a lecture on the topic “Solo singing studies – from vocal technique, breathing technique to interpretation”, on Wednesday, 23^rd May 2018, at 4 pm in Room no. 6 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. The lecture is organized by the Faculty of Arts in Niš Center for lifelong learning.

Valentina Stanojević, a flute student in the class of Andjela Bratić, MA, will hold a full-length concert with the piano accompaniment of Nikola Cvetković on Wednesday, 23rd May 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The concert is organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASA Branch in Niš and the Faculty of Arts in Niš. The entrance to the concert is free.

Zoran Stanisavljević, MA, Associate Professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš, as the conductor of the Student Cultural Center Academic Choir of the University of Niš, will hold concerts on 19^th and 20^th May 2018 at the International Music Festival FIMU in Belfort, France. Apart from other pieces, the Choir will also perform compositions by Dragan Tomić, MA, Associate professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš.

Suzana Kostic, PhD, a full professor and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will participate in the jury at the International Choral Festival “Emanol Popescu”, which is held in the Romanian city of Pitesti. The festival, which will be held from 18^th to 20^th May 2018, is within Pitesti Day celebration. The choirs^, performances will be held at the Philharmonic Hall.
