Ivana Milošević, mas, Assistant at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a full-length concert with Niš Chamber Choir in the Niš Cultural Center small hall on 13^th March 13 2019. The concert was a gift to the citizens of Niš. The program included works by domestic composers, as well as adaptations of folk songs from Russia and Ukraine. The students of the Faculty of Art in Niš participated as soloists and a vocal ensemble “Niš girls” performed as a guest at the concert.

A guitar quartet composed by: Miloš Vuković, Stefan Milenković, Pavle Žarkić and Stefan Dejanović, in the class of prof. Bratislav Zlatković, won I place in the Chamber Music category at the prestigious “Guitar Art” festival, which was held from 12^th to 17^th March 2019 in Belgrade. Congratulations!

Exhibition on the occasion of the centenary of Borivoje Popović^,s birth “BORIVOJE POPOVIĆ music artist and pedagogue of 20^th century Serbian music scene” will be held on Monday, 18^th March  2019, at 6pm at Ponišavlje Museum Gallery in Pirot.

A monograph Niš church singing ensemble “Branko” – 130 years, by the author Sonja Cvetković, PhD, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, received Award for affirmation and cultivation of the tradition and heritage of Niš at XV St. Sava Book Fair in Niš.

Photo exhibition “Paint it Black”, by Miljan Nedeljković, Assistant professor, will be open on Friday, 12^th April 2019 at 7 pm at the ULUA Gallery in Arandjelovac. The exhibition will be displayed until 3^rd May 2019.

Katherine Brimberry, an artist, master-printer and director of “Flatbed Inc.” graphics workshops in Austin, Texas (USA), will be holding a series of lectures at the Faculty of Arts and in the period from 11^th to 21^st March 2019. The visit of a respected artist will include theoretical and practical work with students in the technique of polymer-gravure etching.

The exhibition of drawings of members of the Balkan Anatomical Artists Club, will be opened at the Faculty of Arts in Niš Concert Showroom on 7^th March 2019 at 3pm. The exhibition will last until 21^st March 2019.

Posters of students Kosta Vojinović and Nikola Djordjević were selected in the top 10 best works on the national prize competition for the best poster called “Pink Ribbon Serbia”, while the posters of students Jovana Djordjević and Danilo Paunović entered a wider selection of best works. At II Central Balkan Arts and Games Olympiad – Grand Prix of Mediana 2019 held on Sunday, 3^rd March 2019 at the Army Hall in Niš and in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, the Faculty of Arts students achieved great success, while in the work of the jury, from Bulgaria and Russia, also participated Ivana Mirović, MA, associate professor and Saša Arsenkov, MA, assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts.
