Kosta Vojinović and Miloš Kostov, students of master studies at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, Department of Applied Arts, won the second and third place in the art contest of organization “Jazas” in Novi Sad.

Mr Slobodanka Pajić, MA, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, will perform at the New Year’s Concert in the Catholic Church “The Exaltations of the Holy Cross” in Niš, on Thursday, 27^th December 2018, at 7:30 pm. The concert will be performed by soprano Anita Ferlež Eraković and hornist Evica Radevska.

Andrija Mamutović, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, performed as a guest at a concert by pianist Aleksandar Serdar at the Kolarac Endowment Hall on Tuesday, 18^th December 2018.

Within the accompanying program of the international manifestation “Belgrade Festival of Mosaics”, held at the House of Legacies, on Wednesday, 9^th January 2019, Slavica Erdeljanović Curk, MA, full professor at the Faculty of Arts, will hold a workshop of zgraffito technique and will present students works of the Department of Visual Arts, created within the course of Wall painting.

Exhibition of works by students of the Department of Applied Arts “PIXEL / FLORAL / VECTOR”, created within the course of Graphic Communication, under the mentorship of Anita Milić, Assistant professor and Miljana Radenković, PhD, Assistant will be opened at Niš Cultural Center Gallery on Thursday, 27^th December 2018, at 6pm.

Nevena Stojanović and Nebojša Stojković, the fourth-year students of the Department of Applied Arts, won the accompanying awards at the competition for the preliminary posters design on the topic “Protect ourselves against tobacco”, on the occasion of the National Day without Tobacco Smoke organized by the Institute for Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut ” in Belgrade, intended for students…

Tadija Mutavdžić, a second-year violin student of Faculty of Arts, in the class of prof. Igor Aleksić, MA won the first prize at International Competition Art of Strings in Kragujevac. Congratulations!

A concert entitled “Evening of Debussy”, marking the 100^th anniversary of the death of composer Claude Debussy, will be held on Monday, 17^th December 2018, at 7pm at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. The following piano students in the class of Stevan Spalević, Assistant Professor, will perform at the concert: Irina Petković, Nikola Pavlović, Svetlana Stojanović, Ivana Babović, Katarina Petrović and Dunja Djedović, as well as Nemanja Egerić, Faculty of Arts alumni, as well as piano duo Stevan Nemanja consisting of Nemanja Egerić and Stevan Spalević. The entrance to the concert is free.

Suzana Kostić, PhD, full professor and Dean of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, and Nikola Peković, MAS, Assistant Professor of Accordion, visited the Kemerovo State Institute of Culture in Russia within the framework of international cooperation of this institution and the University of Niš.

Stevan Spalević, assistant professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš, performed as a soloist at the premiere concert “Power of Expression” with Niš Symphony Orchestra under the conductorship of Svilen Simeonov from Bulgaria, at Niš Symphony Orchestra Hall on Friday, 7^th December 2018. He performed the Second Concert for Piano and Orchestra by Johannes Brahms, B-dur, op. 83. at the concert.
