Spec. Bojan Mladenović, piano accompanist at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will perform as a soloist accompanying Niš Symphony Orchestra at the concert “Rhapsody in Blue” on the occasion of the opening of the 2018/19 concert season on Thursday, 6^th September 2018, at 8pm in the Niš Symphony Orchestra Hall. The concert will mark the 120^th anniversary of the birth of American composer George Gershwin and on that occasion the piece “Rhapsody in Blue” for piano and orchestra will be performed. The orchestra will be conducted by Svilen Simeonov (Bulgaria).

The work of Jefimija Kocić, an assistant at the Department of Applied Arts, was selected for the exhibition of the IV International Biennial of the Act “Marko Krstov Gregović”, Montenegro. On Sunday, 2^nd September 2018, at 8pm in the Memorial House “Red Commune”, the gallery “Marko Krstov Gregović” (YU Museums and Galleries of Budva) was held the award ceremony and the opening of the exhibition of works from the IV International Biennial of the Act “Marko Krstov Gregović” .

An exhibition of illustrations “Slovene Mythology” by Anita Milić, an assistant professor at the Department of Applied Arts at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, was opened on Thursday, 30^th August 2018, at 8 pm in Salon 77 in the Niš Fortress.

Elizabeta Matorkić Bisenić, PhD, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, took part in the 13^th International Art Colony “SKOPJE” organized by the City of Skopje, the City Museum of Skopje and the Hotel Arka, from 20^th to 30^th August 2018. The colony was also attended by artists from France, Northern Cyprus, Croatia, Sweden and Macedonia.

Dušan Stanojević and Dejan Ristić, students of the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Applied Arts of the Faculty of Arts, participated in the work of XI International Graphic Workshop “SOFIA” in Bogdanci, Macedonia.

An exhibition under the title “DECODATION” by Anita Milić, assistant professor and Miljana Radenković, an assistant at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš, was opened on Thursday, 23^rd August 2018, at 7pm, in the Center for Culture and Art in Aleksinac.

Kristina Krsmanović, a final-year flute student in the class of Andjela Bratić, MA held a solo concert accompanied by the Cameroon orchestra “Moldava di Chisinau” under the conductorship of Maurizio Doneso, on 22^nd August 2018 in the church of St. George in Karapelle, Italy.

Andjela Bratić, MA, full professor, with piano accompaniment by Dragan Jovanović, MA, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a full-length concert at the Lyra a Liceului de Artă hall “Sabin Păuţa” within the International Festival “ArteOra” in Romania on Friday 10^th August 2018.

Andjela Bratić, MA, full professor at the Faculty of Arts, held four recital performings on a tour in Italy, from 29^th July to 4^th August 2018, at the festivals in Modena, Piombino, Grosetto and San Govania Valdarno with pianist Diane Nokiero.

Andjela Bratić, full professor at the Faculty of Arts, held a full-length concert with the chamber ensemble “Chamber Band” on 27^th July 2018, in Jasika, the birthplace of Stanislav Biničko, marking his birth anniversary.
