Based on the final categorization, the journals – Artefact, the journal of the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the scientific journal Facta Universitatis, Series: Visual Arts and Music, the journal ofthe University of Niš, from the „Facta Universitatis” series, are newspapers of national significance, which are categorized as home novel scientific journal (M54).

Suzana Kostić, PhD full professor and the dean of the Faculty of Arts, participates as a member of the Artistic Committee and president of the jury at 36th International Choir Festival in Karditsa, Greece. The jury also includes distinguished composers and conductors Giorgos Kouroupos, Janis Drositis, Kostas Evangelatos, as well as prof. emeritus and president of the National Opera Dimitris Minakakis. The founder, organizer and president of the Festival is the conductor and professor Nikos Eftimiadis, MA, the only foreign artist who is the winner of the Golden Badge of the International Choral Festival in Niš.

Miloš Vuković, a guitar student in the class of Vesna Petković is the laureate of the International Guitar United Fest competition in East Sarajevo, in the VI two-stage category without age restrictions. The competition was held on 28th October 2018, and he won the guitar by Greek architect Seintoulas Giannis. Congratulations!
Faculty of Arts Editions at the 63rd International Book Fair in Belgrade
The publishing and literary scene of Niš is presented at this year’s 63rd International Book Fair in Belgrade as a city-guest.
