A concert of teachers and associates on the occasion of the 15^th anniversary of the existence and work of the Faculty of Arts in Niš was held on Tuesday, 28^th November 2017, at the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom.

The composer from Ecuador, Fernando Gil Estrada, held a workshop on “Choral Music of Latin America” at the Faculty of Arts in Niš on November 17^th and 18^th, 2017. At the workshop in which the Faculty of Arts choir took part, they learned about the stylistics and ways of interpreting different authors of Latin America.

Within the Erasmus+ project, prof. Emmanouil St. Giannopoulos from Thessaloniki, Greece held two lectures at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, at the Department of Fine Arts premises.

The exhibition of student works from the Department of Applied Arts “STOP 2” was opened at the Museum “Horeum Margi – Ravno” in Ćuprija, on Friday, December 8^th, 2017. Exhibited works realized within the course of Graphic communication are a continuation of visual rhetoric (exhibition STOP – LIFE) guided by the idea of presenting to the public global problems in which some animal species are found. Mentors: Anita Milić, Assistant Professor and Miljana Radenković, Assistant.

Prof. Nikos Efthimiadis, conductor from Greece, held a lecture on the topic “INTERPRETATION OF ITALIAN RENAISSANCE MUSIC” (MONTEVERDI-MARENZIO-GABRIELLI-SCANDELLO-PALESTRINA etc.)” from 27^th to 29^th October 2017 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.

Promotion of the monograph “Katarina Radojlović” by author Srdjan Marković, PhD published by the Faculty of Arts in Niš, was held on 27^th October 2017 at the University of Niš Great Hall.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition of drawings, graphic matrices and paintings by Anica Radošević Babić, MA, full professor of graphic arts at Department of Fine Arts of the Academy of Arts of the University of Novi Sad, was held on October 24^th, 2017 at 8pm in the Faculty of Arts in Niš Concert Showroom.

Within the project “Improving performance abilities of young musicians”, Faculty of Arts in Niš organized a master class for piano and a lecture “Overcoming stage freight in public appearances and studio recordings” by pianist Maja Rajković, full professor at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, on Monday, October 9^th, 2017, as well as a master course of music production and a lecture by prof. Djordje Petrović, Associate Professor and Head of the Recording Studio of the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, on Wednesday, October 11^th, 2017.

The fifth national scientific conference with the international participation Balkan Art Forum- BARTF 2017 was held on 6^th and 7^th October 2017 in Niš.
