Nikola Cvetković, associate at the Department of Wind instruments of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will hold 3 full-length performances in the period from 29^th November to 1^st December 2018 in Riga, Liepaya and Jelgava in Latvia, where he will perform tracks from his album “Nikola Cvetković plays KATATONIA” as well as film music pieces.

Nadja Staničić, a third-year double bass student in the class of prof. Ljubinko Lazić, MA performed as a soloist with the chamber orchestra “Amoroso” at the festival “Essen Music Festival” in the Skopje Museum Hall on 19^th November 2018.

Within the celebration of the centenary of the birth of musician and pedagogue Borivoje Popović (1918-1994), a Ceremony was organized by Faculty of Arts in Niš, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, SASA Branch in Niš and University Library “Nikola Tesla” in Niš.

Zoran Stanisavljević, MA, associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, will hold two full-length concerts with Students Cultural Center Academic Choir of the University of Niš at 4^th International Music Festival “The prof. Jozef Sider” in the city of Cieszyn, Poland in the period from 21^st to 24^th November 2018.

Dejana Radanović, accordion student in the class of Nikola Peković, assistant professor, won the first place at the prestigious World Trophy Competition, held on 17^th November 2018 in Victoria, Canada. Congratulations!

Accordion students in the class of prof. Nikola Peković made a great success at the prestigious World Trophy competition, held on 17^th November 2018 in Victoria, Canada in the Masters category. Dejan Radanović won the first place and the World Trophy, while Stefan Popović won the third and Stefan Velevski the fifth place. Congratulations!

Trio “Art Family” comprised of the Faculty of Arts professors, assistant professors Nikola Peković and Andrija Minčić and associate Nikola Cvetković, won the World trophy in the category World music.

Duo Milošević-Šumanjski continues presenting new music for violoncello and piano with concerts in several cities of Serbia, where he will present completely new pieces of domestic composers who responded to the inspiration “Old dances” in their own way.

Concert by Mina Mendelson, PhD, violin and spec. Bojan Mladenović, piano, will be held on Wednesday, 21^st December 2018, at 7pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The program includes works by Beethoven, Dvoržak and Brahms. The entrance to the concert is free.

Professor Perica Donkov, MA a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, is a participant in the third in the row Niš Salon, which was officially opened on Thursday, 15^th November 2018, at 7 pm in the Officer^,s House in Niš, and will last until 10^th December 2018. Niš Salon: 12/2, an exhibition of twelve artists by choice of two selectors is the youngest annual event organized by the Gallery of Contemporary Fine Arts in Niš.
