Samples of decoration for METALAC cookware by the author Sanja Dević, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, were presented at this year’s „Ambiente” Consumer Goods Fair in Frankfurt.

Milena Rajković, MA, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a solo concert on April 12^th, 2018 at the Music School Concert Hall in Knjaževac. The program included compositions by contemporary composers Dejan Despić and Bojan Glavina.

Miloš Vuković, the third-year guitar student in the class of prof. Vesna Petković, MA is the laureate of the XIII Veria International Guitar Festival in Greece in the senior category, which was held from 10^th to 14^th April 2018. As a prize, he received a guitar, a 500e monetary prize, two paid concerts in Greece and a concert in Athens with the Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations!

Faculty of Arts, in cooperation with Student Cultural Centre, University of Niš, is organizing a masterclass of prof. Inna V. Shorokhova, the Dean of Faculty of Music Art of Kemerovo State Institute of Culture and professor of Department of Conducting and Academic Singing, as well as the artistic director of the Choir Theater Academy and the artistic director of International Festival – Competition “Sibiriada”.

Promotion of the novel “GLOVE” by Slavica Erdeljanović Curk, MA, full professor at Faculty of Arts, will be held on Saturday, April 14^th 2018, at 6 pm, at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a street.

The solo exhibition of paintings by Miroslav Živković, MA, a full professor at Faculty of Arts, was opened on Tuesday, April 3^rd, 2018, at 6:30 pm in the Gallery “Nadace ABF” in Prague. The exhibition is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.

The concert entitled “Interviews”, featuring eminent flutists Stana Krstajić, solo flutist of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and Dejan Gavrić, full professor at Johannes Gutenberg School of Music, will be held on Wednesday, April 11^th, 2018, at 8 pm in Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a street.

A Paper of Suzana Kostić, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, Serbia „PSYCHO-TECHNIQUE IN THE CORRELATION FUNCTION BETWEEN A CONDUCTOR AND A SINGER” as well as a Paper of a group of authors presented by Nataša Nagorni Petrov, PhD, Associate professor, done together with co-authors Danijela Stojanović , PhD, Associate professor and Danijela Ilić, PhD, Assistant professor of Faculty of Arts, University of Niš, Serbia “THE IMPACT OF THE CURRICULA OF THEORETICAL SUBJECTS FOR THE ANALYTICAL APPROACH TO MUSICAL WORK” – will be presented via video presentation, on the occasion of V International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Musical Culture in Theoretical and Applied Dimension”

Jovana Nikolić, Assistant at the course Poster at Faculty of Arts in Niš, participated in international exhibition of women artists up to 35 years old, entitled “Artistic Mind- Young Women Artists in Comparison”, which took place in the monumental museum complex “San Salvatore in Lauro- Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni” in Rome.
