The exhibition of the Department of Applied Arts students’ works “Graphic Integrations” will be open at Student Cultural Center (SKC) Small Hall in Belgrade on Monday, April 2^nd, 2018, at 7:15 pm.

Suzana Kostic, PhD, the actual Dean of the Faculty of Arts is selected Dean for a mandate period of 2018-2021 years, voted by all Faculty Council members’ decision, upon the proposal of Teaching-Artistic-Scientific Council. The function of Vice Dean will be done by Milena Injac, PhD full professor, Katarina Djordjevic, MA full professor, Danijela Stojanovic, PhD Associate professor.

Faculty of Arts in Niš will be presented for the first time this year on X jubilee festival “Science is not scary” with an interactive exhibition entitled “Interactive Guide to Visual Systems in Space”. The festival will be held on 30th and 31st March from 10 am to 7 pm in the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Grand hall.

Aleksandra Ristić, full professor at Faculty of Arts, will mark 25 years of artistic work by the concert entitled “Love Mosaic” with piano accompaniment of Ingrid Janković. The concert, organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASA Branch in Niš and the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will be held on Wednesday, 28^th March 2018, at 8 pm at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The concert is free of entrance.

Students of the Department of Percussion Instruments, in the class of Boris Bunjac, MAS have achieved great success at International Percussion Competition “ART IN-SKOPJE” 2018, held in Skopje, Macedonia. Congratulations!

Zoran Stanisavljević, MA, Associate Professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš, will participate in the jury at the Second National Secondary School Choirs Competition in Poland, in Kališ from 22nd to 25th March, 2018. The competition is organized by Pedagogical Faculty of Arts in Kališ, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan.

Within the framework of the course classes of Painting, under the mentorship of prof. Slavica Erdeljanović Curk, MA, the fourth year students at Department of Fine Arts have realized two mosaics for the Faculty of Arts building. The mosaics represent students^, group work.

Dejana Radanović, Stefan Popović and Stefan Velevski, accordion students, in the class of Nikola Peković, Assistant professor, have achieved great success at international competitions in Belgrade, Niš, Knjaževac and Aleksinac. Congratulations!

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development has supported the development of the Faculty of Arts in Niš and approved the implementation of the Project of maintenance of the roof covering replacement, in the total amount of 1.611.540,00 dinars.

Andrija Minčić, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will hold a Masterclass for clarinet and saxophone at the State conservatory “Dokuz Eylul” in Izmir, Turkey, from 1^st to 4^th April 2018.
