The exhibition and concert of students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš

On Monday 30th November 2015, upon the celebration of 13th anniversary of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, an exhibition and a concert of students of the Faculty at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom was held. The exhibition, titled "PAINTING AND CALLIGRAPHY" pictures of students from the Department of Visual Arts and Calligraphies of students from the Department of Applied Arts were exposed. The best works of classical music was performed at the concert interpreted by the students of the Department of Music Arts./ Authors of photos are Dejan Ristić and Nikola Djordjević, students of the Department of Applied Arts.

The exhibition and concert of professors and associates of the Faculty of Arts in Niš

On Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 upon the celebration of 13th anniversary of the Faculty of Arts in Niš an exhibition and a concert of professors and associates of the Faculty was organized. The exhibition of professors and associates was officially opened at the the University Gallery, University Library "Nikola Tesla", while the concert was held at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom./ Authors of photos are Dejan Ristić and Nikola Djordjević, students of the Department of Applied Arts.

Ceremony marking the Day of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš

Ceremony marking the Day of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš was held on Thursday, 3rd December 2015 at Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. At the ceremony, attendees were addressed by prof. dr Suzana Kostić, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and prof. dr Nenad Pavlović, vice-rector for scientific work and publishing activity of the University of Niš. On this important anniversary, the Faculty took the opportunity to give the awards to those that built themselves into the foundation of the scientific and artistic institutions and persistently contributed to the development and affirmation of the Faculty. The Council of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, awarded the Plaque of the Faculty, as high recognition, to Niš Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre in Niš and to asst. prof. spec. Miloš Mijatović. A retired professor of the Faculty of Arts Djuro Radonjić, MA was awarded with an occasional gift and the Faculty Council awarded Certificates to the families Jaćimović and Aleksić, for the donation of legacies which have contributed to the development of the Faculty, as well as to family Krstić and Gallery Art 55 for contribution to the development of the Faculty with various donations. Also, commendations to the best students of the Faculty were awarded: Nikola Djordjević, Stefan Dimitrijević, Savini Tomanović Kostov and Marko Milosavljević. In a ceremony program, authentic artistic expression was presented by professors, associates and students of the Department of Music Arts./ Authors of photos are Dejan Ristić and Nikola Djordjević, students of the Department of Applied Arts.

Charity Concert for Niš Symphony Orchestra

Charity concert for the purchase of the English horn for Niš Symphony Orchestra was held on Thursday, 3rd December 2015 in the Niš Symphony Orchestra Hall. The concert was organized in cooperation with Niš Symphony Orchestra and the Embassy of Spain in Belgrade on the occasion of the celebration of 13th anniversary of the Faculty of Arts in Niš. At the concert performed the Chamber Orchestra "Concertante" of the Faculty of Arts, Wind Ensemble Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts and Niš Symphony Orchestra under the conductorship of special guest from Spain, Victor Correa-Cruz; and as soloists performed Faculty professors: Aleksandra Ristić, mezzo-soprano, Andjela Bratić, flute, Vesna Petković, guitar and Miljan Bjeletić, accordion. The program included, in addition to compositions of Mozart, Albeniz, Rodrigo, Piazzolla, Villalobos, Cervantes, Mifune and Masotti, works from Niš authors Dragan Tomić and Bratislav Zlatković, professors of the Faculty of Arts./ Authors of photos are Dejan Ristić and Nikola Djordjević, students of the Department of Applied Arts.
