Faculty of Arts in Niš was given a piccolo flute as a donation of the Rotaract club from Niš. At the ceremony held on Thursday, March 26th 2014 at the Chamber hall of the Faculty, the President of the Rotaract Club Petar Pešić handed the piccolo flute to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, prof. dr Suzana Kostić. At the ceremony Anđela Bratić, MA, Associate Professor, performed, as a premiere, two pieces for piccolo flute with the piano accompaniment of Spec. Bojan Mladenović, Senior Artistic Associate.

The premiere concert of students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš with the Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Milena Injac, MA, Full Professor, was held on 13th March 2014. in the Hall of Niš Symphony orchestra, at 8 pm.

Central Celebration and the Ceremony were held on 3rd December 2013 at the National Theatre in Niš. The opening of the exhibition of professors from the Faculty of Arts was held at 7 pm in the lobby of the National Theatre, when the annually awards and plaques were handed. At 8 pm the operetta Die Fledermaus was performed at the National Theatre.

On 3rd December 2013 the Faculty of Arts in Niš celebrated 11 years, anniversary. On this occasion, on Monday, December 2nd 2013 at the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom two manifestations were realized – the opening of the exhibition and the revue concert. At 7:30 pm the exhibition named Master exhibition was officially opened where the works of the students at the Master’s degree studies were exhibited. At 8 pm the revue concert under the name of 11 composers for 11 years was held, where the professors of the Faculty of Arts in Niš performed.

Faculty of Arts in Niš organized the First National Scientific Conference with the international participation – Balkan Art Forum Niš 2013 on the topic ARTS AND CULTURE TODAY (11th and 12th October 2013.). Forum aims to gather artists, pedagogues, theorists, researchers and practitioners whose ideas, innovations and research in the field of art and their specific proposals would encourage the promotion of artistic and pedagogical theory and practice.

The opening ceremony of sgraffiti exhibition of students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, under the mentorship of Slavica Erdeljanović Curk, MA, Associate Professor, was officially opened on Tuesday, 8th October 2013 in the Art Gallery of the Cultural Center in Aleksinac. This is the first exhibition of the works in this very interesting painting technique. 18 students exhibited about 30 works created over the past few years.

Master students of the Department of Applied Arts at Study program – Graphic Design exhibited their works at the Gallery of Contemporary Art (Pavilion in the Fortress), from 12th to 22nd July 2013.

George Kyrillos, founder and a conductor of the Coptic choir David Ensemble from Egypt, gave a lecture on Coptic spiritual music in the Hall 6 at the Faculty of Arts (No. 10, Knjeginje Ljubice Street), on Monday, 24th June 2013, at 6 pm. The opening speech at the lecture had a musicologist Sonja Cvetković, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts.

Students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš were actively involved in music event Festival of Music with the program preformed on the corner of Obrenovićeva St. and Svetozara Markovića St. The event was held on Friday, 21st June 2013.
