Faculty of Arts in Niš organized an intensive Master Class for clarinet from 17th to 23rd September 2015 by Aleksandar Tasić, full professor of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and spec. Miloš Mijatović, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Arts in Niš.

The exhibition of master students of the Department of Applied Arts of the Faculty of Arts entitled DIPLOMA 2015 was officially opened on 17th June 2015, at 7 pm at the Pavilion in the Fortress.

The opening of the exhibition of teachers and associates of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, on the occasion of 50th anniversary of the University of Niš, was held on Monday 15th June 2015, at the gallery “Serbia” at 6 pm. 

On the occasion of a significant jubilee- half a century of a successful educational, scientific and artistic work of the University of Niš, on Friday, 12th June 2015, at the National theatre in Niš, at 7 pm was organized gala concert of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Orchestra with the guests. 

The exhibition Postmodern stories of professors and doctoral students of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Sofia, Bulgaria, was held on Thursday 11th June 2015 at two locations. The exhibition of doctoral students and performance were realized at the Faculty of Arts in Niš Concert Showroom, while the exhibition of professors from Sofia was officially opened at the University Library “Nikola Tesla”.

The University of Niš marks an important jubilee in 2015 – half a century of a successful educational, scientific and artistic work. On this occasion, professors of the Faculty of Arts in Niš performed at concerts titled Kings of Music, at the Synagogue gallery, on Wednesday 10th June and Thursday 11th June, 2015. 

Exhibition DIPLOMA 2015 of master students of Department of Visual Arts of the Faculty of Arts is a part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the University of Niš. The opening ceremony was held on Wednesday, 10th June 2015, at 6 pm at the Pavilion in the Fortress. 

Prof.dr Dimitrije Bužarovski, a full professor of the Faculty of Music Art, University of “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, and a visiting professor of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, was awarded with the honorary doctorate of the University of Niš by the Rector of the University of Niš, prof.dr Dragan Antić, at a ceremony held on June 10th, 2015 in the Great Hall of the University. The honorary PhD of the University of Niš, professor Bužarovski displayed a video performance entitled NIŠ years, in which his cooperation with the Faculty of Arts in Niš has been presented. The awarding ceremony was enriched by a rich artistic program performed by the professors and students of the Faculty of Arts.

The Faculty of Arts organized a series of events marking the important jubilee- half a century of a successful educational, scientific and artistic work of the University of Niš. Concerts of the Faculty of Arts students called “Vivat Academia” and “Vivat Musica” were held on 8th and 9th June 2015 in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom.

The annual exhibition of students, works from the Department of Visual and Applied Arts Departments was opened at 5th June 2015, in the premises of the Department of Visual Arts as well as in primary school Vožd Karađorđe, in the premises of the Department of Applied Arts and the Concert Showroom. The exhibition lasted until 19th June 2015.
