Faculty of Arts in Priština with a temporary seat in Kosovska Mitrovica

At VIII International Festival in Bijeljina, Andjela Antić, solo-singing student of master academic studies, in the class of prof. Katarina Simonović Ivanković, MA, full professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, won II prize in the solo-singing discipline, category IV-a (young men and women up to 32 years of age). The contestants were evaluated by an eminent jury made up of professors from the faculties of Belgrade, Banja Luka and Zagreb.

The joint exhibition of graphics by the Department of Fine Arts and Applied Arts students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš will be opened on 28^th March in the exhibition hall of Zrenjanin Cultural Center. The exhibition will feature works realized in several different graphic techniques during the past academic year.

Piano students in the class of DA Stevan Spalević, Assoc. prof, won prizes at Davorin Jenko International Competition, which will be held from 15^th to 20^th March 2024 in Belgrade:

Vasilije Glavašević, first-year student of UAS – II prize (91.75 points) in D category

Bratislav Djordjević, third-year student of UAS – II prize (90.25 points) in E category

Miloš Mijatović, full professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš and students Nikola Tomić MAS, Borisav Stanić, MAS and Andrija Jašarević UAS, were guests at “Niccolo Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari (Italy) at the largest international project for clarinetists ERASMUS+ under the name “International Clarinet Ensemble – Music Beyond Borders” in which they participated with professors and students from Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Italy. The program of the gala concert premiered the works of J. Van Rost, H. Mertens, W. Farina, J. Linkola, A. Grgin, M. Wind, V. Bequiri, A. Englese.

Piano students in the class of DA Stevan Spalević, Associate professor, won prizes at the “Davorin Jenko” International Competition, which will be held from 15^th to 20^th March 2024 in Belgrade:

Strahinja Marković, second-year student of UAS – III prize (88 points) in D category

Petar Pavlović, second-year student of UAS – III prize (87 points) in E category

First-year UAS students, in the class of full prof. Ana Veličković Igić, Jovana Blagojević – flute, Ilija Jovanović – cello and Vasilije Glavašević – piano won I prize in the chamber music category at 26th International Flute Festival “Tahir Kulenović” in Valjevo. The group “Musique per trois” achieved this remarkable result after only three months of playing together.
