Master course of Vojislav Spasić, MA, at the Faculty of Arts in Niš
The Faculty of Arts in Niš is organizing a master course in solo singing, which will be held by Vojislav Spasić, MA, Associate professor of solo singing at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac. A master class with the topic “Domestic composers, old masters and opera arias” will be held on Saturday, 26th March and Sunday, 27th March 2022 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, Kneginje Ljubice st. no. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Andjela Spasić, Bratislav Djordjević, first-year students and Boris Pećanac, third-year piano student, in the class of Associate professor Stevan Spalević, DA, held a concert on 16th March 2022, in the Crypt of the Church of St. Mark in Belgrade. The program included works by J.S. Bach, J. Haydn, W. A. Mozart, F. Chopin and S. Frank.

At the award poster competition of art faculties students, on the topic “365 days without tobacco” of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia “Dr Milan Jovanović Batut”, the Department of Applied Arts students, under the mentorship of full prof. Branislav Miladinović, a fourth-year piano student in the class of Assoc. prof. Jovanka Arandjelović, MA, won the first prize (95 points) at the international online competition for pianists and professors “Golden piano talents 2021”, organized by the International Association for the Development of Culture and Education, Northern Macedonia. Saint Sava Award of the City of Nis to Mihailo Dašić and Branislav Miladinović
The Saint Sava Award of the City of Niš for an exceptional result achieved during their studies was given to Mihailo Dašić, a student of master studies in Guitar in the class of full prof. Vesna Petković, MA, who received this award previously three times in a row as a student of undergraduate academic studies, as well as to Branislav Miladinović, as a fourth-year student of undergraduate academic studies of Piano in the class of Assoc. prof. Jovanka Arandjelović.
Music School in Niš won the Saint Sava Award for 2021
The Music School in Niš is the winner of the Saint Sava Award for 2021 for the overall contribution to the development of music education in the Republic of Serbia. The Saint Sava Award was distributed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ružić to the school principal prof. Spomenka Špirić in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
