At IX International Online Piano Competition in Smederevo ULJUS 2022 in category V – Chamber Music, students in the class of prof. Ana Veličković-Igić, the flute duo “Due Fiori”, consisting of Valentina Stanojević and Andjela Popović, won I / 1 prize, sharing the same number of points with the trio from Austria.

At 3^rd international competition of young musicians in Zemun, Jovana Vojinović in the class of Assoc. prof. DA Jelena Jakovljević, won II prize in category VI (91 points). Congratulations!

At 3^rd international competition of young musicians in Zemun, Jovana J. Jovanović, a flute student in the class of Assoc. prof. DA Jelena Jakovljević, won I / 1 prize and was declared the Laureate of category VII. Congratulations!

As part of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Concert season, a concert of the piano duo D-Art, consisting of Dragana Djordjević, MA, full professor and spec. Bojan Mladenović, associate will be held on Tuesday, 31^st May 2022. The program will include works by Brahms, Schubert, Poulanc and Jenader. The concert will be held in the Faculty of Arts Concert-Exhibition Space, at 7 pm. The concert is organized by the Branch of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Niš and the Faculty of Arts in Niš.

At this year’s May competition “Women in Music 2022”, Miljana Avramović, a Faculty student in the class of prof. Milena Rajković, won the first prize in the category of complementary piano.

Within the cycle of the Belgrade Promenade, a concert will be held by the Concertante Chamber Orchestra, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš with soloists Andjela Stanković and Miloš Adžić, alumni pianists and eminent artists – professors Jovan Bogosavljević and Marija Rajković, under the conductorship of prof. DA Milena Injac, on Sunday, 29^th May 2022, at 11 AM. The program includes works by Bach, Saint-Saens and the premiere in Belgrade of piece by prof. Jovan Bogosavljević Diptych for two violins and strings.

The concert called Duo Concertante will be held on Friday, 27^th May 2022, at 7 pm, in the Faculty of Arts in Niš Concert-Exhibition Space, where the Concertante Chamber Orchestra, consisting of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students, will perform. The orchestra will be conducted by DA Milena Injac, and the soloists will be Marija Rajković, MA, violin, Jovan Bogosavljević, MA, violin, Andjela Stanković, piano and Miloš Adžić, piano. The concert organizers are the Branch of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Niš and the Faculty of Arts in Niš. The program will include works by Bach, Saint-Saens and Jovan Bogosavljević.

At VI International competition of solo singers Sirmium Music Fest (27-30.04.2022) in Sremska Mitrovica, Andjela Antić, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, in the class of Assoc. prof. MA Katarina Simonović Ivanković, won the first prize (96.3 points) in category IV. Congratulations!

Olga Arsić, a second-year student of the undergraduate studies at the Department of Fine Arts, was given a Commendation by the jury of XXI Biennial of Student Graphics of Serbia in Belgrade, on 21^st May 2022. The setting of the Biennale consists of works by undergraduate and master students from all six state faculties and the Academy of Arts.

The exhibition of graphics of XXI Biennale was opened in the Grand Gallery of the Student City Cultural Center in Belgrade and will last until 4^th June 2022.

At the just held International Competition of Solo Singers ” Тhе Heart of Serbia” in Kragujevac from 20^th to 22^nd May 2022, students of solo singing class: of Katarina Sinonović Ivanković, MA, Associate professor and Saša Arsenkov, MA, Assistant professor, with piano accompaniment by Jelena Deljanin Aleksić, won a total of 10 awards:
