At the ceremony on the final activities of the Action Plan for the Gender Equality Strategy of the City municipality Palilula Niš, the works of Stefana Jovanović, Aleksandra Ristić and Jelena Simić from the Department of Fine Arts, Natalija Djordjević, Teodora Nikolić and Mina Živić from the Department of Applied Arts were presented, with the aim of promoting and education on gender equality. Acknowledgments were given to the students as well as to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, prof. Suzana Kostić, PhD, for supporting the implementation of the “Strategy for the Advancement of Gender Equality” by City municipality Palilula Niš in 2019.
Exhibition of students of the Department of Applied Arts at Niš Cultural Center Gallery
The exhibition entitled “Mesaĝo” by students of the Department of Applied Arts will be opened at the Gallery of Niš Cultural Center in Niš, on Wednesday, 25th December 2019 at 7 pm. The students of the fourth year of basic academic studies will present themselves with the works created within the subject Graphic communication, under the mentorship of Anita Milić, Associate professor and Miljana Radenković, Assistant at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.

The work of Anita Milić, Associate professor, as a participant in the competition for awarding “Ranko Radović Award” in the category of television show, exhibition, multimedia presentation, will be exhibited in the Hall of Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade. The exhibition will last until 30th December 2019.
Concert of Ivana Milošević, MAS with Niš Chamber Choir in Niš
Ivana Milošević, MAS, Assistant, performed at a concert to mark the anniversary of Niš Chamber Choir. The choir celebrated 25 years of successful work and existence with a concert at Niš Symphony Orchestra Hall on Monday, 16th December 2019. The program was conceived as a musical collage of different musical styles. Works by local authors, Russian composers, as well as works of popular, ethno and jazz music were performed. On this occasion, acknowledgments were given to all the conductors of the choir so far, as well as to the guests of the concert who contributed to this event with their performances.

Doc. Slobodanka Pajić, MA, Assistant professor, gave a solo concert on Thursday, 19th December 2019 at the “Cvjat 1870” Community Center in Vidin, Bulgaria. She performed works by Bach, Schubert, and Brahms.

Tijana Borić, PhD, Assistant professor, participated in the international conference “Architectural Institutions and Associations, Art Groups and Magazines in the Kingdom of SCS / Yugoslavia 1918-1941” organized by the Institute of Art History, Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, which brought together over fifty researchers from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia , Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Third prize to Miloš Vuković at a competition in Bulgaria
Miloš Vuković, a guitar student in the class of full prof. Vesna Petković, MA, achieved great success by winning the 3rd prize in the finals, in the no age limit category, at the two-stage international competition at V Pleven Guitar Festival in Bulgaria, held on 1st December 2019.
