Faculty of Arts students at the Drawings and Graphics Exhibition in Novi Sad

The joint drawings and graphics exhibition of of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad will be opened on 10th April 2019 at the Cultural Center of Svilar in Novi Sad. The exhibition of works for the sixth time in a row, will include this year drawings and graphics of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students: Jelena Simić, Stefana Jovanović, Aleksandra Ristić, Anastasija Kocić, Dušan Radovanović, Ivana Dunjić, Jelena Djukanović, Martina Djordjević, Mihailo Golubović, Nataša Stošić, Nina Momčilović, Sanja Djordjević, Dušan Stanojević, Tijana Savković and Nevena Stojanović.

Jovana Jovanović, Nina Lazović, Nevena Miletić and Jovan Jovanović, PhD students in the class of Jelena Jakovljević, PhD, Assistant professor, with piano accompaniment of Nikola Cvetković, MAS, will hold a concert on Wednesday, 10th April 2019, at 7 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a. The entrance to the concert is free.

Danijela Zdravić Mihailović, PhD at a scientific conference in Banja Luka

Danijela Zdravić Mihailović, PhD, Associate professor, will participate at the international scientific conference “Vlado S. Milošević: ethnomusicologist, composer and pedagogue: Tradition as Inspiration”, which will be held from 12th to 14th April 2019 at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka. On that occasion, she will present the paper “A Contribution to the Study of Music Syntax – on boundary cases of fragmentary and sentence structure “.

First prize to Pavle Žarkić at the competition in Bulgaria

Pavle Žarkić, a guitar student in the class of prof. Vesna Petković, MA, Full professor,won I prize in V category at XXIII International Guitar Festival “Akademician Marin Goleminov” which was held from 4th to 6th April 2019, in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. Congratulations!

The success of the chamber ensembles at the competition in Bulgaria

Students of chamber music in the class of prof. Bratislav Zlatković, Associate professor, achieved success at XXXIII International Classical Guitar Festival “Akademician Marin Goleminov” in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. The guitar quartet, composed by Miloš Vuković, Stefan Milenković, Pavle Žarkić and Stefan Dejanović, won I place, while the guitar duo, consisting of Luka Arandjelović and Mihailo Dašić, won II place in the Chamber Music category. Congratulations!

Mihailo Dašić, a guitar student in the class of prof. Vesna Petković, MA, Full professor, held a prize-winning resital on April 5th April 2019 at XXIII International Guitar Festival “Academician Marin Goleminov” in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. This resital was given as a prize by the festival director, Ivan Andonov, at Naissus Guitar Festival in Niš last year.

Resital of the chamber ensemble “Trio de Janeiro” in Bulgaria

Chamber ensemble “Trio de Janeiro”, composed of Bratislav Zlatković, Associate professor, flute and guitar students, Miloš Vuković and Pavle Žarkić, held a premiere concert at XXIII International Classical Guitar Festival “Akademician Marin Goleminov” on 5th April 2019 in the Brotherhood Reading Room Grand Hall in the cvity of Kyustendil, Bulgaria.

Jovan Timilijić, a viola student in the class of prof Vesna Rilak Stanimirovic, MA, Associate professor held a concert on Wednesday, 3rd April 2019, at 6 pm in Kolarac Endowment Music Gallery, within the “Meeting with the Artist” cycle. The pieces of Hoffmeister, Brahms and Schumann were performed with piano accompaniment of Anita Stanković.
