Awards to Miloš Vuković at competitions in Thailand and Bulgaria

Miloš Vuković, a guitar student in the class of Vesna Petković, MA, full professor, won second place in the finals of the two-stage online competition at the “Thailand International Guitar Festival 2020” in the oldest category. The competition was held from 2nd to 7th November 2020. He also won a special award in the finals of the oldest category at the two-stage “Plovdiv GuitArt Festival” organized by the “Eurostrings” project, held from 30th October to 1st November in Bulgaria. Congratulations!

Lecture by invitation of prof. Branimir Karanović, MA

Prof. Branimir Karanović, MA, Professor Emeritus of the University of Arts in Belgrade, will hold a lecture on invitation on “Photography and Graphics – Graphics without pressure”, on Friday, 23rd October 2020, at 1 pm in the graphics premises of the Faculty of Arts, prescribed epidemiological protection measures.

Vesna Gagić’s monographic study published by the German publishing house

Vesna Gagić’s monographic study “Anniversary of the Serbian Giants in Art” was also published by German publishing house “GlobeEdit” from Saarbrücken and is listed and available in libraries in Germany such as the National Library of Germany. Also, as the first edition of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, can be found in libraries in the USA, such as the Library of Congress in Washington and the library of Harvard University.

Works by female students of the Faculty of Arts at the IX Biennial of Mosaics in Belgrade

Students of the Faculty of Arts Ivana Dunjić, Aleksandra Vuksanović, Sanja Djordjević and Stefana Jovanović, by the decision of the jury, exhibit mosaics at IX International Biennial of Mosaics “Beauty of Tradition”. The exhibition was opened on Wednesday, 14th October 2020, at SKC Gallery, Novi Beograd. The works were created within the course of Wall Painting by the mentor full prof. Slavica Erdeljanović Curk, MA.
