The Faculty of Arts, University of Niš organizes a Master Course for Cello, which will be held by Meinhard Holler from Munich, Germany, from 22nd to 26th April 2019 at the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. There is a possibility of active or passive participation in the course.
Accordion quartet as laureates of Belgrade Accordion festival
The accordion quartet consisting of Dejana Radanović, Stefan Velevski, Drago Garić and Danilo Mitić, chamber music students in the class of prof. Aleksandar Jakovljević, MA, won the Laureate (I prize) in the chamber music category at Belgrade Accordion Festival, which was held on 29th March 2019. Congratulations!

Mila Teokarević, a 2nd-year student of the Department of Applied Arts, is the finalist of the contest of Refoto portal for best photo contest on the topic “Femininity”. Awards to chamber music students at the competition in Belgrade
Chamber music students, a trio “Fiorelinno” composed by Sara Ristić – soprano, Valentina Stanojević – flute and Miljana Antanasijević – piano and a trio “Trizmo” composed by Ema Ćoćić – soprano, Damjan Mišić – tenor and Antonina Vukašinović – piano, in the class of prof. Ana Veličković Igić, won two III prizes at the International Chamber Music Competition “Olivera Djurdjević”. Congratulations!

Graphics by Martina Djordjević, a student at the Department of Fine Arts, by Jovana Djordjević, MAS, Assistant and Slobodan Radojković, PhD, Associate professor at the Faculty of Arts, were included in the selection of the May graphics exhibition of the Belgrade Circle in 2019. This year’s May graphics exhibition of the Belgrade Circle will present new works by artists who are related to Serbia, the Gallery Graphic Collective and Belgrade as an art center. The exhibition will be open during May in the ULUS Gallery in Belgrade. It will last 20 days and is organized by the Board of Directors of the Gallery Graphic Collective.
Concert of Mina Mendelson and Bojan Mladenović at the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom
On the occasion of 10-years artistic co-operation a concert by Mina Mendelson, PhD, violin and Bojan Mladenović, spec, piano, will be held on Tuesday, 2nd April 2019, at 7 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. Elgar’s Sonata for violin and piano in E-minor, op. 84, will be premiered at the concert. The entrance is free.

Stevan Spalević, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts, held a resital on 23rd March 2019 at the Pergam Libres Gallery in Barcelona. The program included works by J. S. Bach, L. V. Beethoven, F. Schubert and C. Debussy.

Jelena Cvetković Crvenica, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts, will take part in the work of the jury at SOLFEST from 20th to 22nd March 2019, organized by the Music Academy in Cetinje. In addition to working in the jury, she will hold a workshop called “Colored tone standard”.
