Vesna Petković, MA, full professor, chaired the jury at XVII International Music Festival in Ub. The competition of young guitarists took place on 20^th April 2019 at Music school “Petar Stojanović”, under the auspices of the municipality of Ub.

Mas. Nemanja Egerić, MAS, Associate at the Faculty of Arts, held a full-length concert with the flutist Angelina Nikolić, an alumni of the Faculty of Arts, on Friday, 19^th April 2019, at the Culture Castle in Vrnjci Spa. The program included works by S. Franck, A. Jolivet, O. Messiaen and I. Jevtić.

Danka Pajić, MA, Assistant professor, will chair the jury at the Young Pianists Competition in Zaječar, which will be held on Thursday, 24^th April 24 2019.

The concert of the chamber trio “de Janeiro” organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASA Branch in Niš and the Faculty of Arts in Niš will take place on Tuesday, 23^rd April 2019, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a.

Sofija Stajić, a third-year horn student in the class of Milan Stajić, MA, Assistant professor, won I prize at International Polyhimnia Competition held in Skopje, Macedonia. Congratulations!

The exhibition “SPATIAL GRAPHICS” of students’ works from the Department of Applied Arts will be opened at Niš Cultural Center Gallery on Friday, 19^th April 2019, at 7 pm. Exhibited works were realized within the course of Spatial Graphics, under the mentorship of Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor and Jefimija Kocić, MAS, Assistant.

Stevan Spalević, Associate professor, held a master course on 13^th April2019 at the Music school “Kornelije Stanković” in Trstenik.

Nemanja Egerić, Associate at the Faculty of Arts, performed at the concert of the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade piano students, in the class of prof. Maja Rajković, performing a selection of pieces from the cycle “Twenty Views of Jesus Child” by Olivier Messian. The concert was held on 8^th April 2019 at Italian Institute for Culture in Belgrade.

Exhibition of paintings “Imaginary landscapes”, doc. Vladan Randjelović, Assistant professor, was opened on Wednesday, 17^th April 2019, at “Boža Ilić” Gallery in Prokuplje. The exhibition was opened by a City Council member in charge of culture, Milica Erić. Besides the exhibition author, Dragan Popović, an art historian also spoke at the exhibition opening.

Andjela Bratić MA, full professor, held a concert with the “Chamber Band” ensemble on Monday, 8^th April 2019, at 7 pm in the Niš City Hall. The concert featured pieces by Tošić, Divjaković, Golemović, Hristić …
