Valentina Stanojević, a third-year flute student in the class of Andjela Bratić, MA, full professor, won I prize (97.4 points) at XVI competition of wooden winders in Požarevac. Congratulations!

Doc. Miljan Nedeljković, Assistant professor, is the winner of I prize at the photo contest on the topic “Cultural and Historical Monuments of Novi Pazar” for the photo “Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Ras”, organized by the Museum “Ras” in Novi Pazar. The exhibition of the narrow selection of photo and award winning works was opened on 15^th April 2019 in the Museum building.

The chamber trio “de Janeiro” composed by Bratislav Zlatković, Associate professor – flute, guitar, Miloš Vuković and Pavle Žarkić – guitar, held a concert in the Center for Culture and Art in Aleksinac Gallery  on Thursday, 11^th April 2019.

Miloš Vuković, a 4^th-year guitar student in class of Vesna Petković, MA, full professor is one of fourteen winners of the Eurostrings scholarship from all over Europe for 2018/19. Congratulations! EuroStrings is the first European platform for classical guitar, which includes 14 European countries and guitar festivals, under the auspices of the European Union Creative Europe Fund.

The concert entitled “Spring charm” by chamber music students in the class of prof. Ana Veličković Igić, spec, will be held on Wednesday, 17^th April 2019, at 8 pm, in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The entrance to the concert is free.

Miloš Mijatović, Associate professor, participated in the Royal Global Tour in Macedonia and Bulgaria, which aimed to bring together artists from the region and America. In cooperation with prof. Aleksandar Tasić, prof. Yuan Gao and prof. Igor Balrevski, he held master classes, lectures and presentation of the latest achievements of Royal Global instruments at the National Music Academy “prof. Pančo Vladigerov” in Bulgaria and the Imperial Concert Hall of the State Opera and Ballet in Skopje, where they also held a concert.

Exhibition of paintings entitled “Deaf Room” by Perica Donkov, MA, Full professor, will be open on Thursday, 11th April 2019, at 7 pm in the gallery “Rhyme” in Kragujevac and will last until 6^th May 2019.

The joint drawings and graphics exhibition of of students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad will be opened on 10^th April 2019 at the Cultural Center of Svilar in Novi Sad. The exhibition of works for the sixth time in a row, will include this year drawings and graphics of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students: Jelena Simić, Stefana Jovanović, Aleksandra Ristić, Anastasija Kocić, Dušan Radovanović, Ivana Dunjić, Jelena Djukanović, Martina Djordjević, Mihailo Golubović, Nataša Stošić, Nina Momčilović, Sanja Djordjević, Dušan Stanojević, Tijana Savković and Nevena Stojanović.

Jovana Jovanović, Nina Lazović, Nevena Miletić and Jovan Jovanović, PhD students in the class of Jelena Jakovljević, PhD, Assistant professor, with piano accompaniment of Nikola Cvetković, MAS, will hold a concert on Wednesday, 10^th April 2019, at 7 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a. The entrance to the concert is free.
