Categorization of the journals of the Faculty of Arts and the University of Niš

Based on the final categorization, the journals – Artefact, the journal of the Faculty of Arts in Niš and the scientific journal Facta Universitatis, Series: Visual Arts and Music, the journal ofthe University of Niš, from the „Facta Universitatis” series, are newspapers of national significance, which are categorized as home novel scientific journal (M54).

Concert of Contemporary Music “Sound of the New Age”

The concert of contemporary music titled “The Sound of the New Age”, at which the compositions composed in the 21st century will be premiered, will be held on Tuesday, 6th November 2018, at 8 pm in Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom.

Suzana Kostić, PhD as president of the jury at 36th International Choir Festival in Karditsa

Suzana Kostić, PhD full professor and the dean of the Faculty of Arts, participates as a member of the Artistic Committee and president of the jury at 36th International Choir Festival in Karditsa, Greece. The jury also includes distinguished composers and conductors Giorgos Kouroupos, Janis Drositis, Kostas Evangelatos, as well as prof. emeritus and president of the National Opera Dimitris Minakakis. The founder, organizer and president of the Festival is the conductor and professor Nikos Eftimiadis, MA, the only foreign artist who is the winner of the Golden Badge of the International Choral Festival in Niš.

Faculty of Arts Editions at the 63rd International Book Fair in Belgrade

The publishing and literary scene of Niš is presented at this year’s 63rd International Book Fair in Belgrade as a city-guest. The city of Niš will have a special exhibition stand in Hall 4, throughout the Fair (21-28.10.2018). At the City of Niš stand, the Faculty of Arts presents its editions within the presentation of the University of Niš publishing.

Works by the Faculty of Arts students in the shortlist of the World Poster Contest in Mexico

Nadica Kostić and Mihailo Golubović, third-year students and Miloš Kostov, a fourth-year student of the Department of Applied Arts, under the mentorship of Slavica Dragosavac, associate professor and Jovana Nikolić, an assistant at the Faculty of Arts, were included in the narrow selection of “Segunda Llamada”, the World Poster Contest in Mexico, on the theme of environmental protection “Climate change. Consciousness, Action.”
