The annual concert of the students of the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš will be held on Friday, 1st June 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom. The concert will feature talented instrumentalists from the Department of Music Art – Tadija Mutavdžić – violin, Jovan Timilijić – viola, Jovan Jovanović – flute, Mina Krasić – piano, Valentina Stanojevic – flute, Denis Džafari – clarinet and chamber ensembles: Trio “La papillon” : Marinko Andrejić – violin, Aleksandra Trifunović – double bass and Andrija Djordjević, guitar and Trio “FA NIŠ”: Tamara Pejčić – flute, Kristina Krsmanović-flute, Milan Lemaić – piano. The opening of the annual exhibition of works by students of the Fine Arts Department and the Applied Arts Department will be held on Friday, 1^st June 2018, at the premises of the Fine Arts Department (Art School Niš, Prvomajska 6 str.) at noon, as well as in the Primary School “Vožd Karadjordje”, in the premises of the Applied Arts Department (Primary School “Njegoš”, Pantelejska 60 str.) at 1:30 pm.

Students of the study program Percussions, Djordje Stojiljković, Djordje Hartl, Vanja Hartl and Luka Pal Marković, in the class of Boris Bunjac, will present us a unique concert experience on Wednesday, 30^th May 2018 at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a str. In this way, students will presented themselves for the first time to the Niš audience with a full-length concert and present their talent on a large number of percussion instruments.

Concert of piano students, in the class of Stevan Spalević, will be held on Tuesday, 29^th May 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a str. The entrance to the concert is free. Nikola Pavlović, Svetlana Stojanović, Ivana Babović and Vera Radisavljević will perform at the concert.

Darko Mlovanović, a master student in the class of Saša Arsenkov, MA, won I1 prize (92.5 points) and Jelena Stojilović, a master student in the class of Katarina Simonović Ivanković, MA, won the II1 prize (89.82 points) at the First international competition of solo singers “Radmila Bakočević” in Kragujevac, which was held on 26^th May 2018. Congratulations!

Sara Bogdanović and Antonina Vukašinović, the first year piano students in the classes of Andrija Mamutović and Jovanka Arandjelović, held a concert on Sunday, 27^th May 2018, at 5 pm at the Culture Center in Smederevo.

The piano duo “Stevan Nemanja” consisting of Stevan Spalević, pianist, Assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš and Nemanja Egerić, alumni of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a concert at the Auditorium Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio in Florence within the concert season Musica al Ponte 2018. They played at the concert with Italian percussionists Pierre Machetti and Ricardo Soldi performing works by Bartok and Ravel.

Denis Džaferi, II year clarinet student in the class of prof. Miloš Mijatović, won II place in category V at XV International Competition of Wind instruments in Požarevac. Congratulations!

The concert of Marina Trajković-Bidžovski, soprano and Dušan Toroman, pianist will be held on Thursday, 24^th May 2018, at 8 pm in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjaževačka 2a. The program will feature compositions of Schuman, Grieg, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. The entrance to the concert is free.

VI International Student Complementary Piano Competition will be held in Niš from 26^th to 28^th May 2018, during which concerts of eminent pianists will take place.
