Lazar Mutavdžić, a second-year violin student in the class of Associate professor Marija Rajković, MA, represented Serbia and this year performed as a soloist accompanied by Mostar Symphony Orchestra in Mostar at the traditional international event “Young Talents”.
Second prize to Andjelija Djak at International Competition “Petar Konjović”
Andjelija Djak, first-year student of undergraduate academic studies of flute in the class of full-time professor Andjela Danković, MA, won II-1st prize in V category, at XXVIII International Competition “Petar Konjović” in Belgrade.

The posters of master student Jovana Milojević and graduate student Teodora Nikolić of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts were selected for the final exhibition that was realized as part of X World Biennial of Student Posters, organized by the University of Novi Sad and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
The official selection also included the works of Master students Sara Stojanović and Marta Pejčić.
The works were exhibited at Svilara Cultural Station from 22nd December 2022 to 11th January 2023.

Concert of students of the Department of String Instruments
On Wednesday, 10.05.2023. In 2008, a concert was held by the students of the Department of String Instruments. Students in the class of Jovan Bogosavljević, MA, Marija Rajković, MA, Ljubinko Lazić, MA, and Vesna Rilak Stanimirović, MA, performed, with the piano collaboration of DA Senka Simonović and DA Nemanja Egerić. The program included works by Mozart, Sperger, Dittersdorf, Tchaikovsky, Schumann, Weber, Bloch, Lalo, Sibelius and Kreisle
Exhibition of students within course Evening Act of mentor Vladan Randjelović in Niš Cultural Center gallery
On Thursday 11.5.2023. at 6 pm, the exhibition of the Faculty of Arts in Niš students within the course “Evening Act” by mentor Vladan Randjelović was opened in Niš Cultural Center gallery. The works were exhibited by students of II, III and IV years of the visual and applied arts departments. At the exhibition, 24 students presented themselves with a dozen works of small and medium format.
Participation of professors and students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš at “Graphic Format 2023” exhibition
The festival organized by French association of graphic artists Manifestampe ‒ Fédération nationale de l’estampe means an international one-day program of rich content that takes place on 26th May in France and in other countries around the world. As part of the French festival of printmaking Fête de l`estampe 2023, the Board of the Graphic Section of ULUS organizes a group exhibition of small format graphics entitled “Graphic Format 2023”.
The exhibition, as a side program of the festival, will be held in the lower area of ULUS Gallery, Kneza Mihaila 37, Belgrade, from 10th to 31st May 2023, including talks with artists, demonstrations of graphic techniques and talks about graphics with a s10 to 31pecial focus on the importance of small format graphics.

Dušan Vinkić and Kristina Mančić, flute students in the class of DA Jelena Jakovljević, Associate professor, won II and III prizes at XXVIII “Petar Konjović” International Competition. Dušan Vinkić, first-year student of undergraduate academic studies, won II prize (90.33 points), Kristina Mančić, second-year student of undergraduate academic studies, won III prize (90.33) points.

Review exhibition of student works of the Department of Applied Arts in SKC Belgrade, Happy Gallery
The collective exhibition of works by students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš Department of Applied Arts, entitled “Visual Rhetoric to Identity #3” was opened from 18th to 29th May 2023 in Happy Gallery of SKC in Belgrade.
In the Graphic Communications course, the continuous cooperation of teachers, associates and students has produced generations of universal soldiers. Sara Stojanović, Jovana Milojević, Minja Djordjević, Nadežda Ristić, Marta Pejčić, Ana Milenković, Jana Janić and Milica Zdravković are students who are ready to cooperate and already very successful. Their names are crowned with awards and artistic projects. For this reason, they brand themselves through the task of a personal website and present page proposals with a personal stamp, and they design their own success creatively and professionally in order to attract the attention of users and achieve communication. In addition, by the trefoil they successfully represents the visual identity of the October Salon event.
As part of Graphic Communications, motivational slogans of world famous brands are exhibited by Marko Cukavac, Jana Novaković, Andrijana Jovanović, Irena Tasić, Elena Denda, Marija Milosavljević, Ksenija Stanković, Ilija Samac, Nadja Stanisavljević, Danica Ćirić and Nevena Ristić with extremely creative concepts.
The goal of the curriculum of this specialized course is to train students to think independently and carry out the creative process in graphic design, that is, to create future professionals in the field of graphic design. Students confirm the knowledge and skills acquired in Graphic Communications through the realization of specific tasks and other exhibitions/projects under the mentorship of prof. Anita Milić and Assist. DA Miljana Radenković. With this, the Faculty of Arts in Niš is already becoming a recognizable and indispensable brand in the culture of the city, country and region.
