An exhibition of the final works of the students of Master Academic Studies of the Department of Applied Arts will be opened at the Synagogue Gallery, on Wednesday, 1st July 2020, at 7 p.m. Aleksandra Stojanović, Anastasija Kocić, Nataša Kostić, NadicaKostić, NevenaStojanović and DušanStojković are exhibiting their works. The exhibition will last until 7th July 2020.
Exhibition of paintings entitled “Dialogue with Nature” by Vladan Randjelović, MA, Assistant professor was opened on Monday, 15th June 2020, in the Legacy of Milić from Mačva in Kruševac. The exhibition organized by Cultural Center Kruševac will last until 26th June 2020.
Students in the class of Milena Rajković, MA, Assistant professor won four first and one second prize at VII International Piano Competition ULJUS Smederevo – Complementary piano category. The first prizes were won by Stefan Veljković and Ana Djordjević, IV year, IvonaStojkov, III year and Milan Stanković, II year, and the second prize was won by DjordjeDjokić, I year. Congratulations!
Professor Miron Mutaović exhibits his painting at traditional Spring Exhibition of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS). The exhibition entitled “Where does the future begin?” was opened on Saturday, 30th May 2020 at 7 pm in the Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić”.
Dragan Jovanović, MA, Associate professor participated in the work of the jury at International Competition in Smederevo “ULJUS 2020”, in the categories of Complementary Piano and Chamber Music. The competition was held online in accordance with the situation.
Sanja Dević, MA, Assistant professor was awarded a commendation by the jury for the works in the category of Applied Arts at XV International Biennial of Miniature Art in Gornji Milanovac.
Originally conceived as an exhibition of anatomical drawings by the Faculty of Arts students in the premises of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Niš, in the field of interfaculty cooperation, was prepared as a virtual one due to the state of emergency and the declared pandemic SARS-CoV2 virus infection.
Teodora Nikolić, a third-year student at the Department of Transformed Arts, was awarded the first prize at International Competition for visual identity of the Strings 2020 Music Festival in Leskovac. The organizer of the competition is Leskovac Cultural Center. The work was realized during the course of Graphic Communication with mentors, Anita Milić, Associate professor andMiljanaRadenković, DA, Assistant.
Every year at the beginning of June, most of the premises of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Nis – halls, classrooms, other rooms and even corridors become exhibition spaces where students of the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Applied Arts of all study levels present their final works. The works were done in various techniques, from traditional to modern, including those that have been awarded at important world competitions. This year, the global virus pandemic prevented us from continuing the tradition, so this time we are moving to the virtual spaces of the Faculty of Arts. Different directions of creative thinking of students will be presented through a virtual exhibition that will be available on the website of the FU Exhibition Season from Monday, June 15, 2020 at 12 noon.
Students, pupils and artists from all over the world participated in the first International Internet Competition “Constantine the Great”.Apart from a large number of competitors from Serbia, competitors from all over the world took part – Russia, Italy, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Greece, Sweden, Slovenia, Northern Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Latvia, Albania, Ukraine, Bulgaria… The eminent Jury had high criteria and objectivity in evaluating more than 150 competitors and awarded 25 first prizes and 6 laureates. This year’s of the Grand Prix winner is Nikola Varžić from Slovenia.
As the completion of the Competition annual cycle, a Gala concert of the laureates and the winnersof the Competition has been planned to be organized in honour of the City of Niš celebration – St. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena. However, due to the circumstances related to the COVID-19 virus, this year’s Laureates and awarded artists will present themselves with videos on the official YouTube channel of the Competition.
