Promotion of the exhibition catalogue “Serbian Modern Art through the prism of the anniversary of Miloje Milojević and Sava Šumanović” by Vesna Gagić, published by the Faculty of Arts in Niš, will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018, at 1pm in Room no. 6 at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.

Mihailo Dašić, Pavle Žarkić and Miloš Vuković, the guitar students in the class of Vesna Petković, MA, won 3 first prizes and 3 gold medals in the guitar category: Instrumental/Adult/Solo//ELITE at “INTERNATIONAL BALKAN MUSIC ARTS & DANCE OLYMPIAD – MEDIANA GRAND CUP 2018.” which was held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 in Niš National Theater. Congratulations!

Piano students in the class of Stevan Spalević, Assistant professor, achieved success at 11^th International Music Festival in Arandjelovac. Congratulations!

Suzana Kostić, PhD, full professor and Dean of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, participates in the jury of “INTERNATIONAL BALKAN MUSIC ARTS & DANCE OLYMPIAD – MEDIANA GRAND CUP 2018” on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at 11 am at the Niš National Theater.

The Faculty of Arts in Niš is proud to announce the Opening of Faculty of Arts Concert Season 2018 with the traditional revue concert “A Gift to the Ladies” and the exhibition “Posters 2013-2017.”

The work of Nikola Djordjević, a fourth year student of the Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts in Niš, is one of fifty selected works for the exhibition, selected in the student category in the competition of the Second International Poster Competition, on the topic “Writing, the origins of Civilization”.

Anica Radošević Babić, MA, full professor at the Department of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, presented the Faculty of Arts with two-color graphics called “Seed 5” (dried needle technique, 50 x 70 cm, 2017).

Aleksandar Raos, a master class student in the class of professor Aleksandar Serdar, won the Second prize at the 6^th International Pianist Competition Svetislav Stančić in Zagreb, competing with six competitors in the final in the Lisinski Grand Hall. The first prize was not awarded, making Raos the winner of the competition. In addition to this prestigious award, he was also voted the best competitor by the audience, as well as by the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra and conductor Mladen Tarbuka, with whom he will perform as a soloist at a full-length concert next season. Congratulations!!

Nemanja Stanković, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, has received the “Young Performer” Award, awarded by the music magazine “Muzika klasika”. The award ceremony will be held at the National Theatre Museum in Belgrade on Wednesday, February 14th, 2018, at 6pm. Congratulations!

A multimedia exhibition and a concert entitled “Recollection on Konstantin Babić and Paja Jovanović” on the occasion of the 90^th birthday of music artist Konstantin Babić and the 60^th anniversary of the death of painter Paja Jovanović were held on Thursday, December 14^th, 2017 in the Faculty of Arts Concert Showroom, Knjazevačka 2a.
