Miljan Bjeletić, MA, a full professor at the Faculty of Arts, participated at a scientific conference of professors from Shanghai, other cities of China and international representatives of the accordion from 5^th to 7^th November 2018 in Shanghai and held master class to students of the Conservatory in Shanghai.

In the period from 8^th to 14^th November 2018, Faculty of Arts professors, Nikola Peković, assistant professor, Nikola Cvetković, artistic associate and Andrija Minčić, assistant professor will hold three concerts in Vancouver, Edmonton and participate in the World music category of World trophy which is held in Victoria, Canada.

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Niš and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the SASА Branch in Niš are organizing a scientific symposium “Traditional Aesthetic Culture: Picture and Letter” on Friday, 9^th November 2018, at 11 am in the Multimedia Room no. 8 at the University of Niš.

On the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Republic of Srpska at the ASARS Gallery, an exhibition “Pictures and Sculptures” of twenty eminent artists of different generations from Serbia, the Republic of Srpska, Slovenia and the UK, whose works are part of the art collection of the International Art Colony of Pliva, was organized. Among the exhibited works are the pictures of the larger format of prof. Katarina Djordjević, MA, full professor at the Faculty of Arts.

Andrija Mamutović, Assistant professor at Faculty of Arts, held a full-length concert dedicated to the works of Brahms at Music school hall in Vranje on Monday, 29^th October 2018, at 7pm.

Katarina Djordjević, MA, full professor at Faculty of Arts, as the only representative of Serbia, participated in “V International Symposium of Traditional and Regional Values”, Afyon, Turkey.

Tijana Borić, PhD, Assistant professor at Faculty of Arts, participates at international symposium on the occasion of the centenary of the unification of Romania, held in Timisoara, organized by the National Museum and the National Library of Romania, from 22^nd to 24^th November 2018.

Jelena Jakovljević, PhD, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš, held a recital in the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade. The program included sonata for flute and piano by J.S.Bach.

Stevan Spalević, Assistant professor at Faculty of Arts, held a concert at Kolarac Endowment Great Hall in Belgrade along with colleagues percussionists prof. Srdjan Palačković, PhD and Neven Djordjević, as well as with pianist Nemanja Egerić in the duo Stevan Nemanja. The program included works by Bach, Stravinsky, Glinsky, Vinyan..

Andjela Bratić, MA, full professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš, performed at a full-length concert with the “Chamber Band” ensemble at the Cultural Center Sopot on Wednesday, 31^st October 2018.
